How long does it take to get the site online?
The first site is born in a couple of minutes. The real time goes into sorting out what is yours: the words, the photos, the opening hours. One afternoon and you are online.
Do I need to know how to code?
No, and you do not even need to know what a domain or hosting is. You tell it what you do, the way you would tell a customer who just walked in.
Can I change it myself afterwards?
Yes, without asking anyone. You click on the spot you want changed and say what you want. If something breaks, the fix costs you no credits.
Is the site mine? Can I take it elsewhere?
It is yours. You download the code whenever you like and take it wherever you want: nothing ties you here.
What happens if I run out of credits?
The site you published stays online. You cannot ask for changes until you top up, but nothing disappears.
Does it look right on a phone?
Yes, and not by accident: every site is born with the rules for small screens already written in. While you build it you can look at it as a phone and as a tablet.
Can I use my own photos?
Yes, you upload them while you talk to the site and it puts them where they belong. If you do not have any yet, the site is born anyway and you add them later.
Will Google find the site?
Yes, published sites are open to search engines. There is also a switch where you write what your business does and the words you want to be found by.
Where does my data end up?
The database is in Europe. Some services we need in order to work are in the United States: they are listed one by one in the privacy policy, with what they see and why.
