A website to sell your products online
Tell it what you sell, where you ship from and what shipping costs, and createforme builds the website in a few minutes: a product catalogue, a cart, shipping costs and payment with PayPal or your own Stripe payment link. It’s designed for a shop with dozens of products, not a warehouse with thousands: for that you need a platform like Shopify.
Sapori di Terra
A sample website for a family deli in Caserta, Italy. Here’s what’s inside:
- The story of the shop and its producers, one by one, with where they work
- A catalogue of eight products with prices including VAT, and a cart
- Shipping in 48 hours, insulated packaging for fresh products, an order cut-off time
- The free-shipping threshold stated at the top
The example is written in Italian; its names, photos and reviews are made up. See it as it is (opens in a new tab).
What a website that sells online needs
Why buy from you and not elsewhere
Someone who can buy the same olive oil on a big marketplace buys from you for the story: who makes it, how, and for how long. The example dedicates a whole section to its producers, one by one. That’s what makes the difference.
Shipping costs before the cart
Discovering the shipping cost at the last step is the most common reason carts are abandoned. Stating it at the top — along with the free-shipping threshold — removes the surprise.
Real delivery times
“Orders placed by 2pm ship the same day” is a promise you can keep, and it sells. Better than a vague “fast shipping”.
Few products, well told
Eight products with good photos and two honest lines sell more than fifty empty listings. Start with your best sellers and add more later.
Ready to use, nothing to install
What to know before you publish
The right to cancel
In the UK and EU, consumers who buy online can usually cancel within 14 days. There are exceptions — for example goods that go off or expire quickly, like fresh cheese — and they must be stated in your terms of sale. In the US there’s no general federal right, but some states have rules on how refund policies must be shown.
Information before the purchase
Total price, delivery costs, timing, payment methods and who you are — business name, address and company or VAT number where required — must be clear before the customer pays.
If you sell food
In the UK and EU, ingredients and allergens must be available before the purchase is completed, not only on the label that arrives at the door.
This is general information, not legal advice: for your situation, ask a professional or your regulator.

Questions
Who receives the money?
You do: payments go through your PayPal account or your own Stripe payment link. createforme doesn’t touch the money and takes no commission on sales.
How many products can I list?
The shop is designed for a small catalogue of a few dozen products. If you have hundreds, with variants, stock and SKUs, you need a dedicated e-commerce platform.
How much does it cost?
You can create and preview the site for free. To publish it you need the Starter plan, €22.90 a month, with no commission on sales. Your own domain is included in the Agency plan.
Do you write the terms of sale?
No: the site has room for your terms and privacy policy, but the text should be checked by someone who knows your business. They are legal documents and must describe how you actually work.
