England and Wales: the SRA transparency rules
Firms regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority must display the SRA digital badge on their website, publish their complaints procedure and, for certain services — such as conveyancing, probate and employment tribunal claims — publish price and service information.
United States: advertising rules vary by state
State bars follow versions of the ABA Model Rules 7.1–7.3: no false or misleading statements, and some states require an “Attorney Advertising” label or restrict client testimonials. Check your state bar’s rules before you publish.

Don’t name clients or describe cases in a way that identifies them without their consent. Every bar has its own rules on advertising: check yours.
